HANGING YOUR BRUCE MORTIMER LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPH
Please use a professional contractor to install your photograph if you are not confident or able to do so yourself.

On the rear of the frame there are two hanging plates, one on either side.
These will be used to support the frame on two screws which you will need to install on the wall. Please note that it is not necessary to locate the wall screws in the keyhole-shaped hole within the hanging plate, just simply rest the underside of the plate on the screws in the wall, as described below.

Step 1
Mark where you would like the centre of the photograph to be on the wall.
Step 2
Make another pencil mark at the height you would like the top of the frame to be. Then measure 18cm down from that position (this is the position of the hangers on the rear of the frame). This line indicates the height at which you will install the two screws.
Step 3
Using a spirit or laser level, mark where each of the two screws will be installed in the wall by measuring horizontally on either side of the mark made in step 3, at a distance of 64.75cm to each side. Double check your measuring by confirming that the distance between the two marks is approximately 129.5cm (mm accuracy is not critical).
Step 4
Install suitable screws in the wall with suitable anchors depending on your wall type. I recommend installing a screw to a depth of at least 40mm. Leave about 1cm of screw protruding from the wall. Each hanging plate will rest on this protruding portion of each screw.
Step 5
Carefully lift your framed photograph onto the wall so that the inside portion of the rear of the frame is straddling the screws, starting slightly higher than the desired height and then lowering it evenly letting the bottom of the hanging plates come to rest on the screws. Your photograph should now be hanging securely, level, and flush with the wall.

I wish you years of pleasure from it.
